“His Voice” quartet, consisting of Tod Spainhower, Kevin Spainhower, Harold Dixon and Doug Leno, will pay special tribute to Wayne Hooper on October 31, 4:00 p.m. at the Spokane Valley Adventist Church. The concert will feature some of your favorite hymns and spirituals including, Now Don’t You Let Nobody Turn You ‘Round, Let the Heaven Light Shine on Me, and Good News, Chariot’s A-comin’. The concert opens and closes with the script from a 1958 Voice of Prophecy broadcast, and the UCA men’s chorus and UCA brass will join the quartet on two numbers. Jan Hooper Lind has this to say about His Voice: “We heard them in concert last year in Boise. Dad would be so impressed with this fine quartet singing his arrangements—they sound just like the King’s Heralds!” Bring your family and friends for an unforgettable evening of music, memories, and ministry that will benefit UCA students.
