Stephanie Dawn Brings Out Del Delker Tribute Album

When I was a toddler my mother introduced me to the music of Del Delker, and I immediately fell in love with her beautiful singing voice, as many of you have. I had the privilege of meeting Del when I was a little girl, and she took me under her wing and became my friend as well as my mentor. She taught me through word and example to give all of the glory to God and minister to the needs of others. In spite of her busy schedule she always made sure to take plenty of time for me. She has been an incredible listener and source of support amidst the struggles I’ve faced over the years. Our friendship deepened as I entered into adulthood, and we have developed a close bond that will continue throughout all eternity. We are in contact with each other by phone almost daily. It is my desire to provide her with the same support she has given me.

As a way of saying thank you to Del for everything she has done for me, we have recorded a tribute album to her, and it is now available. The album contains 12 songs, all of which are songs that she has made popular, including her signature song, “The Love of God.” The album is entitled, “Treasured Friend: a Tribute to Del Delker.” Every person who purchases this album will also receive an article I have written about my memories of Del. Each CD costs $25, which includes shipping and handling.
