Adventist School in Southern Peru Initiates Google Innovation Classroom
“Miraflores Adventist Academy, which belongs to the South Central Adventist Educational Association (ASEACES) of the South Peru Union (UPS), inaugurated its new infrastructure with a special program that also included the presentation of the first Google Classroom, a modern, innovative, dynamic educational system that today is the first of its kind installed in an Adventist school in Peru.” Full story at ANN website.
South Pacific Food Company Works to Minimize Environmental Footprint
“In Australia, Sanitarium has become a foundation supporter of the National Plastics Recycling Scheme (NPRS), a proposed new avenue to recycle soft plastics in Australia and build an advanced recycling industry to produce food-grade recycled packaging. The new scheme, being developed by the Australian Food and Grocery Council, aims to collect and recycle approximately 190,000 tonnes of plastic packaging each year by 2025.” Full story at Adventist Record website.
Adventist Church Launches Health Program at Buddhist Temple in Thailand
“The Adventist Church in Thailand (TAM) launched its first health program at Singburi Buddhist Temple in conjunction with the Suphanburi, Kanchanaburi, Uthai Thani, and Singburi (SKUS) cluster, Bangkok Adventist Hospital (BAH), and the TAM health team. Adventist Deaf Ministries International Expands Throughout the Philippines
“The ministry started with just five deaf members and three hearing volunteers. As the years went by, the ministry expanded to several churches within the domain of the Central Luzon Conference, such as Marikina and Ortigas. Florida City Commissioner Assists at Adventist Food Drive
“Dion Henry, Altamonte Springs Church pastor, invited the newly elected commissioner to observe the church’s food drive. When O’Malley arrived, he was dressed and ready to work, not just observe.
