The AT Summer Fundraiser Starts Today!

Hi Everyone!

Recently we received a note from an Adventist Today supporter that absolutely made our day. She told us that 30 years ago her husband was asked for support by the “youngsters” who started AT.

“My husband now is in advanced Alzheimer’s and is unable to read anymore, but all these years he/we have been supporting your vision,” she wrote. She wished us God’s blessing and challenged us to “keep up the good work.”

We read this note out loud to those assembled at our latest AT board meeting, marveling at how supportive AT readers are and how loyal they remain to the cause of providing accessible, independent journalism to the Seventh-day Adventist community. 

You are receiving this message because you are one of these valued supporters. As we kick off our 2023 Summer Fundraiser, we want to sincerely acknowledge how vitally important your backing is to our work. Without your support there simply would be no AT. 

Imagine for a moment what the Adventist Church would be like without the transparent journalism AT provides. We would not have the uncensored news and commentary that, quite simply, are not permitted in official denominational publications. Instead, we would simply hear what denominational leaders and PR officials wanted us to hear. In lieu of the open and refreshing views shared on AT, “approved” top-down views from the ivory towers of the church would rule the day. Instead of the vibrant discussions we enjoy through our weekly Adventist Today Sabbath Seminar, we would be confined to the echo-chamber of sanctioned talking points. 

That isn’t a pretty picture! The service AT brings to Adventists globally—supported by your prayers and financial gifts—is absolutely essential.

We Need Your Help 

Our 2023 Summer Fundraiser is here. During August 11 – 20, 2023 we need your help to raise a total of $50,000. These resources will provide crucial support for AT because, unlike official denominational media outlets that are supported financially by the denomination, we are able to maintain our independent voice by raising our own funds.
