20 April 2018 | Tomorrow, Saturday, April 21, Adventist Today editorial staff, members and friends will celebrate the independent journalism ministry’s 25th Anniversary in Loma Linda, California.
Two events: a commemorative lecture and a banquet, will mark the milestone for the Adventist publication that was established to provide a source for independent journalism and innovative ministry resources for the Adventist community. The events are intended to celebrate highlights of the past 25 years of publishing as well as showcase plans for the future.
The festivities will begin with a commemorative lecture by David Neff, the former editor-in-chief for Christianity Today, titled The Role of Independent Journalism in a Faith Community. It will be held at 3 p.m. in the Damazo Amphitheater located on the campus of Loma Linda University in the Centennial Complex. The street address for the Centennial Complex is 24760 Stewart Street. All are welcome to attend.
In the evening, at 6 p.m., pre-registered guests (unfortunately, registration is now closed) are invited to attend Adventist Today’s Quadranscentennial Banquet. The evening of dining, mingling, recognition and enlightening presentations will take place at Najwa’s Mediterranean Cuisine located on 24711 Redlands Boulevard which is on the south side of Redlands Boulevard, just a few blocks west of Anderson Street.
