$20 Million Nursing Home Planned for Central Florida by Adventist Care Centers
October 24, 2016: Those in the market for a nursing home in Central Florida need look no farther than a new 120-bed project planned by Adventist Care Centers in Osceola County.
The two-story, 85,000-square-foot building will stand on 8.6 acres of land in Celebration, a master-planned community originally developed by the Walt Disney Company.
Construction will begin in January 2017 with a projected completion date of February 2018.
The new nursing home joins a growing trend of similar facilities being built in Central Florida. Adventist Care Centers, part of parent company Adventist Health System, expects to add 100 jobs to the area with the new venture.
All rooms will be private, styled to look like home. The facility will feature a 4,000-square-foot therapy gym and two dining areas on each floor.
Future residents will be able to see the nightly fireworks show from nearby Walt Disney World.
