Editor Will Cover the Annual Meeting of the Denomination’s North American Division
Dr. Loren Seibold, the Executive Editor of Adventist Today, will travel to Silver Spring, Maryland, tomorrow (October 26) to cover the annual meeting of the governing body for the Seventh-day Adventist denomination in North America; the Year-End Meeting of the North American Division (NAD) Committee. The meeting will continue through October 31. The presidents of the local conferences in the United States, Canada and Bermuda, a delegation from each of the nine union conferences (including pastors, teachers and laity who make up the majority), representatives from the institutions and the NAD officers and department heads make up this committee. It is the policy-making body of the NAD and provides guidelines for financial and institutional operations.
Seibold will send out quick reports throughout each day as news develops and decisions are voted, on the Adventist Today page on Facebook and through Twitter. There will also be a daily summary report published on the www.atoday.org website.
