UCA Elementary Gives their First Prosthetic Hand
By Debbonnaire Kovacs, posted May 11, 2016
On March 2, 2016, we reported on the astonishing story of an upper-grade class at Upper Columbia Academy Elementary School in Spangle, WA, who had taught themselves to create prosthetic hands. You can remind yourself of the details of that story here.
Well, the moment we have all been waiting for (and the class has been pretty much dying for!) has arrived: On May 6, just before Mother’s Day, a little girl with no fingers on her right hand came to be fitted for the prosthesis created just for her! You can see a video that will bring tears to your eyes here, and read more of the story here. Be sure to click on the blog post and read the unbelievable details, especially about the doll! No spoilers here–read it there!
Praise God for dedicated teachers and Godly-hearted students!
