Reducing Authoritarianism in Our Communities – Association of Adventist Women Vespers – Oct 8

Come and celebrate with the Association of Adventist Women (AAW) on October 8, 2022, in the Loma Linda University Church Loveless Fellowship Hall.

A vespers titled “Reducing Authoritarianism in Our Communities” will take place at 5 pm. No registration necessary.

Speakers at the vespers include former Spectrum editor Bonnie Dwyer; Elissa Kido, EdD, the director of the La Sierra University-based Center for Research on Adventist Education; and Katrina Blue, PhD, who serves as associate professor of theology at Pacific Union College.

The vespers will be followed by the AAW 2022 Banquet, for which tickets can be reserved here.

Carmela Monk Crawford JD, Margaret Solomon PhD, Nandi Fleming MTh, Sylvia Klinger DBA, Verna Alva MD MPH, and Judy Lello will be given Woman of the Year awards, and Randy Roberts DMin, will receive the association’s Champion of Justice Award.
