Plea for More Women on Governing Body of the Adventist Denomination

October 20, 2015:    A member from South Africa spoke during the annual meeting of the General Conference executive committee last week, to challenge the leaders to increase the representation of women in this group which governs the denomination. Applause broke out among the committee members. The speaker was Lea Fraser and she was interviewed by Pastor Carmen Seibold, a reporter for Adventist Today. You can see the short interview here:
