Sahmyook Health University Presents Adam, a Robotic Bible Instructor Assistant
“Park says he named the robot Adam after the Sahmyook Health University digital strategy, which he has named ‘Digital Eden.’ He explained that he has tried this second-generation robot for some time now. ‘I made this robot learn the Bible,’ he said, ‘including the 28 fundamental beliefs of our church in several languages.'” Read full story at the Adventist Review site.
Southern Adventist University Counts Highest Freshman Enrollment

Adventist Church in Colombia Launches Vegan Restaurant in Capital, Bogotá
“The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Colombia recently inaugurated its newly renovated restaurant in Bogotá. Dozens of church leaders and members toured the restaurant and sampled the healthy dishes. Named Green Food, the restaurant’s focus is on vegan dishes, and healthy bites is part of the Upper Magdalena Conference’s strategy to highlight a healthy lifestyle with a spiritual ambiance, church leaders said.” Full story at the Inter-American Division website.
Adventist National Secretariat Meeting in Peru Marked Largest to Date
“On September 15–16, 2023, approximately 2,000 secretaries and leaders of the Seventh-day Adventist Church from southern and northern Peru attended the National Secretariat Meeting, themed ‘Excellence to fulfill the mission.’” … After completing this event, and considering the large number of attendees, the leaders of the South American Division and the General Conference specified that this year’s National Secretariat Meeting would be the largest to date, marking a historic event for Peru.” Read full story at the Adventist News Network site.
