Leadership Change at Avondale University
The search for a new vice-chancellor and president of Avondale University will now begin, following a decision by Professor Kevin Petrie to step down. Global Youth Day Celebrated Internationally–March 18, 2023
Young people around the world celebrated Global Youth Day (GYD) last Saturday, 18 March 2023. In the Trans-European Division (TED) alone, 56 projects ran in parallel, including distributing fruits and free hugs in the Netherlands, celebrating Mother’s Day in England, inviting people to sit and rest on a comfortable ‘Sabbath sofa’ -conveniently placed in the streets of Serbia – and joining in song with a choir in Poland. “Personality Pups” Teach Kids Life Lessons
Darius Bridges, a member of the Sligo church in Takoma Park, Maryland, and his dad, Conrad, recently launched a YouTube channel called Personality Pups (P-Pups). Using 12 puppies with unique personalities, this platform teaches children about their place in God’s world and shares lessons such as how to work together despite differences. Over 28,000 Community Service Projects Hosted in the South American Division in 2022
According to reports generated by the departments of the South American Division, during 2022 more than 28,000 projects were carried out for the benefit of people in need.
