A group of women from several areas in the province of Guayas gathered on November 29 to participate in “Florezca” [Flourish], a project of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in South America. “On Dec. 21 at 7 p.m. the cantata “Silent Night, Holy Night” will be performed at the Buena Vista Seventh-day Adventist Church, located at 2335 Magnolia Ave.
A former pastor of the church, Rick Labate, will be directing the cantata and said this cantata brings the reason Christmas is celebrated through sound and sight as video emphasizes the story as it is being told through song.” Read the full article here.

Civil engineering graduates from Walla Walla University, Jenna Fanselau and Reuben Herbel, created a redesign of a one-day church for Maranatha Volunteers International as their senior project. “Ten students of the professional career of Theology at the Adventist University of Chile (UnACh) traveled to Arica, in the far north of the country, where they resided for four months, to develop evangelistic campaigns that resulted in the baptism of 181 people.
From August to November 2024, the young people who are preparing for pastoral work taught Bible studies to more than 600 people from four districts of the city, creating a closer relationship with each Bible student.” Read the full article here.
