Four Great Reasons to Register for AT1 on the 4th of July
We hope you have a fantastic time celebrating the 4th of July with family and friends.
If you haven’t had the chance to do so yet, here are four great reasons to register for the brand-new, October 4-6, Portland-based AT1 gathering over the holiday.
#1 – Just as the 4th of July is about celebrating freedom as a nation, AT1 celebrates freedom in Christ. This is a brand-new, progressive, grace-focused gathering for the Adventist community. Our theme is Christ Challenging Culture. That includes encouraging Adventists to discover the freedom and grace of the gospel. Some of the most dynamic and thought-provoking speakers in the Adventist community are scheduled to speak.
#2 – The 4th of July is a day to focus on things that bring us together, AT1 is designed to be a breath of fresh air. A break from the ever-growing conflict and polarization both in society at large and in the Adventist denomination.
#3 – Our Christ Challenging Culture theme means that we are 100% focused on Jesus and on how He asks us to tackle the status quo in today’s culture. America needs more of this kind of programming!
#4 – On the 4th of July we celebrate the birth of a nation that saw things differently, that represented a break with how things had been done in world history. AT1 is all about celebrating a brighter future with Jesus. This is not a guilt trip. We care about the new life in Christ, not whatever may be in the rearview mirror.
