Editorial: Bjorn Is Running for Adventist Today!
Next week, I’m combining two of my greatest passions: running and supporting Adventist Today.
On Sunday, August 11, I’ll be setting off from Big Ben in London on a 230-mile run to Paris to raise funds for the AT Summer Challenge fundraiser.
I know what you’re thinking. “Bjorn, have you lost your mind?”
Perhaps a little, but hear me out. AT has been a beacon of independent, accessible Adventist journalism for over 30 years, pushing boundaries and fostering open dialogue within our church community. This cause is worth a few blisters!
The AT Summer Challenge is simple: choose a physical challenge, get sponsored, and donate the proceeds to AT. I figured, why not take things to the next level? Hence, the London to Paris run was born.
But I can’t do this alone. I need your support. Whether you’re a fellow runner or believe in independent Adventist journalism, join me on this journey. Sponsor me for $1 or $10 per mile, with all proceeds going to AT. Your support will fuel both my run and AT’s vital mission.
If running isn’t your thing, no worries! Participate in the AT Summer Challenge by making a direct donation or undertaking your own physical challenge and donating the proceeds to AT.
Together, we can make strides towards a more informed, engaged Adventist community – and maybe even improve our health while we’re at it!
