About the panelists:
Dr. Michael Hogue, dean of Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy, has worked with the Centers for Disease Control and Infection as the only pharmacist alongside 45 healthcare professionals on the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices COVID-19 vaccine Workgroup and also serves as an advisor to the San Bernardino Department of Public Health’s COVID-19 Vaccine Workgroup. He has been leading the initiative locally to organize our community vaccine efforts in accordance with the CDC and California state guidelines, operating one of the largest COVID vaccination sites in the Inland Empire, where up 2,000 people are vaccinated daily.
Dr. Jacinda Abdul-Mutakabbir, associate professor at Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy, is the lead pharmacist in charge of Loma Linda University Health’s mobile vaccination community clinics. She prepares and transports all vaccines and educates community members about COVID-19 vaccines, prior to clinics.
