Coronavirus Claims Life of Adventist Zimbabwean Ambassador to UAE
12 February 2021 | Jethro Ndombondayi Ndlovu, Zimbabwe’s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, recently passed away from COVID-19 complications.
ZimLive reported Ndlovu, a devout Adventist, passed away at a private hospital in Harare, Zimbabwe, late last month.
Ndlovu, 66, had travelled to Zimbabwe in December for his brother’s burial and tested positive for the virus while he was getting ready to return to the United Arab Emirates.
On January 30, ZimLive reported Ndlovu was the latest high-ranking official in the country to die from COVID-19. Four ministers and a High Court judge had previously died from the virus.
