Bomb Threat at Adventist Church in New Brunswick
8 January 2019 | A bomb threat to an Adventist church in New Brunswick, Canada, resulted in a complete evacuation of the building at noon on Saturday, December 29.
The bomb threat to Moncton Seventh-day Adventist Church was phoned in to Codiac Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). The warning said that there were bombs inside the church building.
According to the website of 91.9 The Bend, police officers did not find any explosives inside or outside the church.
Heavily-armed law enforcement spent an hour on the premises. Sgt. Dan Poirier of Codiac RCMP said that it was unclear how many people were attending church but that there were 20 to 30 cars in the parking lot.
Moncton SDA’s website makes no mention of the incident. The church does not appear to have a Facebook profile.
