AT1–May 28, 2021
We often underestimate the benefit of an affirming and accepting conversation. Pointing out a person’s strengths, or assuring them that an adverse personality trait is not as large to the rest of us as it is in their minds, can be life-changing. Jesus was the master at such conversations. That’s what we’re going to hear about today.
We’re so delighted you’ve found AT1. From our inspirational message, to our thought-provoking AT Trending News, to our melodic moment of music, we trust this short program adds value to your week, and is becoming your first choice for a Friday night vespers. Here are our presenters this week:
Today’s Host – Paul Richardson
Presenter – Pastor Kara Johnsson
Trending News – Bjorn Karlman
Musician – Ben & Christina George
For Reflection and Discussion:
1. Who in your life do you want to have a conversation with where you can intentionally speak to them words of affirmation and acceptance? How can you sense these moments in any conservation you have, and find the courage to speak up?
2. When we feel lost in life, how can we learn to both ask for and gratefully accept words of affirmation and encouragement from those who love us?
