AT1–July 16, 2021
Contentment isn’t always easy to come by. There are so many unrealized dreams in our lives. So many things to be fearful of, or worry about. Jesus’ offer in Matthew 11:28 to come and find rest seems so idealistic and out of reach in today’s world. How is contentment possible?
We’re so delighted you’ve found AT1. From our inspirational message, to our thought-provoking AT Trending News, to our melodic moment of music, we trust this short program adds value to your week, and is becoming your first choice for a Friday night vespers. Here are our presenters this week:
Today’s Host – Stefani Leeper
Presenter – Pastor Spase Gligorov
Trending News – Bjorn Karlman
Musician – Christina & Ben George
For Reflection and Discussion:
1. They say that being (a) grateful, and (b) identifying what you can do right now, gives you greater ability to be content and stop worrying. So write down one thing you’re worried about, or fearful of, and apply these two practices to it. Keep track of how you feel over time as a result.
2. What are some lessons and triumphs that have come out of situations where you thought you were down and out?
