You Are Not Alone
Hi AT Readers,
It’s easy to feel alone these days.
The awful, isolating pandemic has restricted or canceled gatherings with friends and family for almost two years now. We’ve missed social gatherings and we’ve often felt that returning to our local churches on Sabbath mornings is too much of a risk. If we add the sense of isolation many of us feel spiritually as we hunger for an approach to faith that embraces critical thinking and thoughtful transparency, the cumulative sense of spiritual loneliness can feel overwhelming at times.
One of the things that greatly encourages me when I’m feeling disconnected and alone is the sense of community Adventist Today provides. Yes, AT gives us accessible, independent journalism but equally important, AT is a global family that reaches out to all of us. You are not alone. You have like-minded friends that support your faith experience. You are part of a family that helps nourish us all intellectually, socially and spiritually.
As 2021 comes to a close I am making a personal appeal to you to join the hundreds of donors giving to this year’s AT Year-End Fundraiser. Join us because meaningful community matters. Join us because AT means we are not alone. Join us because God is doing something special through AT.
Thank you for giving a generous, tax-deductible year-end gift to support AT.
We are stronger together. We are not alone.
Thank you for your generosity,
Your grateful AT fundraising director,
Bjorn Karlman
