Personal Finance Site Places Southwestern Adventist University on Best Colleges List
5 November 2019 | WalletHub, a personal finance site, has listed Southwestern Adventist University on its Best Colleges List. The school was listed as No. 255 on the list out of 1000 US institutions compared across 33 measurements.
According to the Cleburne Times-Review, Southwestern ranked No. 251 in student selectivity; No. 393 in cost and financing; No. 529 in faculty resources; No. 121 in campus safety; No. 546 in campus experience; No. 557 in education outcomes; and No. 483 in career outcomes.
The school ranked No. 53 overall in the southern region.
Earlier this year in September, Southwestern was ranked No. 11 for the 2020 Regional Colleges West Rankings.
“Southwestern Adventist University prides itself in intentionally providing quality education in a caring and supportive way to its students,” said Southwestern President Ken Shaw in reaction to this ranking. He added that he was happy to see the school in the top 25 percent in the country and the top 17 percent in the southern region.
Southwestern Adventist University is an Adventist institution in Keene, Texas. About 800 students attend the school.
The US Department of Education lists the average cost after aid for Southwestern at $19,342 and the cost before aid at $32,146.
