KIM CARTER, YOU WILL ALWAYS BE OUR CNN HERO.
It has been announced that Kim Carter did not win overall CNN Hero of the Year; that honor went to Maggie Doyne.
Kim wrote after the taping [of CNN’s upcoming show about the Heroes] last night –
“Thank you guys so much. It’s been amazing and I’m so blessed to have so much support during this journey. God has His plan for my life and I know this is but a beginning! Subaru will be matching all donations starting Dec 6th thru CNN giving campaign. So just remember we still have huge opportunities to help more homeless women and children. Sharon Stone stopped me in the walkway and said she was inspired by my speech…so many people were moved tonight so I can’t wait for America to see the show… Thanks again! Love you, Carole”
Congratulations to Maggie Doyne on being named the 2015 CNN Hero.
