First Women’s School of Evangelism Opens in South America
The headquarters of the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s South American Division (SAD), which oversees eight countries in South America, launched its inaugural “Women’s School of Evangelism.” This pioneering event gathered female leaders from church unions and administrative regions across Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Peru. The Remarkable Rise of Timor-Leste’s Adventist Online Community
“Since its inception in March 2022, the church’s media presence in Timor-Leste has experienced significant growth in its followership, reaching more than 1,000 subscribers for the YouTube channel and almost 3,000 followers on Facebook. Andrews University Holds Ninth Annual Social Consciousness Summit
“The ninth Summit on Social Consciousness took place on Thursday, February 29, and Saturday, March 2, 2024, with the theme ‘Race. Religion. Reflections. Andrews University: The Institutional Saga (1960–1980).’ The Summit explored the theme from three perspectives: Andrews University’s female employees, past and present student groups, and the voice of Andrews’ Seminary alumnus Alvin Kibble. Pacific Union College Begins Construction of State-of-the-Art Media Center
“Thanks to two recent grants, Pacific Union College’s Department of Visual Arts will begin this spring to construct a new and innovative media center. The Tonge Media Center in Fisher Hall will house an advanced audio and video studio with state-of-the-art technology and equipment.
