Oregon Conference Explains New Workarounds & Pastoral Assignments
“To the fullest extent possible, we aimed to equalize workload of pastors and financial sustainability. In addition, we’ve been able to shift funding for six full-time positions from the Gladstone office to the pastoral workforce to help increase pastoral coverage to our churches. Southwestern Adventist University Holds Annual Dino Dig Experience
“Llempen’s goals for the Dino Dig are twofold. Firstly, he aims to gain hands-on experience in the techniques of preservation and restoration of dinosaur bones, skills that are essential for a career in paleontology. Dr. Phillips Center’s Music Programs Aid Stroke Survivors
“The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts expanded the STROKESTRA® program this May, bringing together more than 15 stroke survivors, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO), AdventHealth clinicians, and local musicians. ADRA Offers Free Sign Language Training in Brazil
“According to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), the number of individuals with some type of hearing impairment in the country exceeds 10 million. New Zealand Pacific Union Conference Explores Innovative Ways to Use Technology
“More than 200 people gathered in Auckland, New Zealand, to explore innovative ways to use technology for spreading the gospel and building community at the Digital Discipleship Conference held from June 21 to 23.
