NAD President Addresses Racial Tensions in the United States
5 June 2020 | Outgoing North American Division (NAD) President Dan Jackson released the above video statement today, condemning racism in the United States.
“I am heartbroken at the wanton and hateful violence that led to the death of George Floyd,” said Jackson.
The leader said Floyd’s death was a “horrible illustration of what happens when men feel that they are superior to others.”
Speaking to African Americans, Jackson said he was “saddened that you have experienced prejudice and bigotry even in church.”
“It is time for all of us to do some soul-searching,” said Jackson.
