Greetings from your Commander…
I WANT YOU!
Come to the recruiting office and join up.
The time has come to choose this day whom you will serve. If you choose to serve Me in sincerity and faithfulness, then when you go forth to war against your enemies, and see horses and chariots and an army larger than your own, you shall not be afraid of them; for your Commander is with you. I will go with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory. I have set up a banner for those who are loyal to Me. Rally to it, and you will be delivered, my beloved. I will give victory by My right hand and answer you. [Josh 24:14, 15 Deut. 20:1, 4; Psalm 60:4-5]
Take off your civilian clothes. Put off your old nature which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful lusts. Put off anger, wrath, malice, slander, and foul talk. Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old nature with its practices. [Eph. 4:22; Col. 3:8-9]
Get your medical exam and your antiseptic shower. I will bring health and healing and I will heal you. I will cleanse you from all the guilt of your sin against Me, and I will forgive all the guilt of your sin and rebellion against Me. [Jer. 33:6, 8]
Put on your uniform. Put on your new nature, which I have created for you in the likeness of the Great King, in true righteousness and holiness, and which I will keep renewing in knowledge after the image of its Creator. I will clothe you with the garments of salvation, and cover you with the robe of My righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. [Eph. 4:24; Col. 3:10; Is. 61:10]
Requisition your armor of light. Put on the whole armor of the Great King, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the Evil One. Put on the breastplate of righteousness, and the belt of truth. On your feet put the shoes of the gospel of peace. Take the shield of faith, with which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the Evil One, and cover your head with the helmet of salvation. Take the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of the Great King. Keep your communicator tuned in, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication, and stay alert! I will give you a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and the mantle of praise instead of a faint spirit. And above all these things, put on love, which binds everything together in perfect unity. [Rom. 13:12; Eph. 6:10, 14-18; Is. 61:3; Col. 3:14]
Get ready for boot camp. I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you. Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left. Practice to show yourself a good soldier, approved by your Commander, and learn to use your sword to rightly divide the word of truth. But remember that the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, capable of piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Use it very carefully, and NEVER, NEVER use it against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take the whole armor of the Great King, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of your Commander. I will fight for you, and you have only to be still. I have already overcome the world, and have sat down with My Father on His throne. When you have conquered, I will grant you to sit with Me on My throne, too, and where I am you may always be, forever. So have peace, I am coming quickly. [Ps. 32:8; Is. 30:21; 2 Tim. 2:15; Heb. 4:12; Eph. 6:12-13; 14:13-14; John 16:33; Rev. 3:21; John 14:3; Rev. 22:20]
With more love than you can imagine, Your Commander
