Important Update: Exceeding Our Year-End Fundraising Goal
Dear Adventist Today Supporter,
I’m writing to provide an important update regarding our year-end fundraising campaign. After posting yesterday’s update, we discovered additional donations that had come in through the mail but were not included in our initial count due to a processing error. We apologize for this oversight.
With these contributions now accounted for, I’m thrilled to announce that we have surpassed our original goal of $120,000 and have now raised over $140,000! This unexpected turn of events is a testament to your incredible generosity and support.
We are deeply grateful for this outpouring of support, which exceeds our expectations. This additional funding will allow us to expand our investigative journalism efforts and further our mission of providing independent, transparent reporting on crucial issues within the Adventist community.
While we’ve exceeded our initial goal, we’re excited about the possibility of reaching even greater heights. We invite you to help us push towards $150,000, which would provide even more resources for our mission. Every additional donation will help us enhance our reporting capabilities and expand our reach in the coming year.
As we mentioned previously, the General Conference’s decision to prohibit its employees from talking to Adventist Today underscores the importance of our work in maintaining open dialogue and transparency within our faith community.
Your contributions enable us to:
– Investigate crucial church developments
– Give voice to those speaking truth to power
– Create safe spaces for authentic faith dialogue
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. Your trust in Adventist Today drives us to maintain the highest standards of journalism and accountability. We look forward to serving you with even more in-depth, independent reporting in the coming year.
With gratitude and renewed commitment,
Björn Karlman
