How to Start a House Church Coming to Europe in May
More and more Adventists are interested in starting small, informal congregations that meet on Sabbath in homes and other non-traditional locations. This is an effective approach in secular, urban contexts, especially among young adults. Simple Church at Home is an Adventist resource network that provides support for these groups and is recognized by the denomination. Pastor Milton Adams is the director and the lead presenter for these events.
Introductory weekend seminars for those interested in this approach will be provided by Simple Church in the following cities in May:
May 10-12 – Gustav Stresemann Institut, Niedersachsen, Germany. Sponsored by Lower Saxony Conference, Hansa Conference and North and South German Union Conferences. From 3 pm Friday to noon on Sunday.
