12 January 2025 |
On November 15-19, 2024, GAiN Europe conference was hosted in Budva, Montenegro. Hope Media Europe presented three documentary series, a narrative film, an upcoming book on “Purpose,” and a new free-to-view streaming website J+.
Global Adventist Internet Network (GAiN) Europe, in coordination with Hope Media Europe, developed numerous projects over two years focusing on the theme of life purposes, bringing together the collaboration, efforts, and teamwork of numerous media centers and entities of the Adventist Church.
The projects utilized global talent under Klaus Popa, the president of Hope Media Europe. Adrian Duré was the project coordinator over the global media centers contributing towards the three documentary series My Greatest Purpose, My Greatest Venture, and My Greatest Victory, which tell the stories of public figures excelling in their vocations.
Julio Muñoz, executive director of the Sonscreen Film Festival, with significant contributions from Pacific Union College, worked towards the narrative film Inner Space, which “explores the notions of purpose, identity, and life goals through an introspective conversation visually displayed throughout the film.”
Norel Iacob, professor of systematic theology at Adventus University and director of Adventus University Press in Romania, developed the book on “Purpose.”
This content can be found on the new free-to-view platform J+. According to NAD, “Fully launching in April 2025, the free-to-use platform will cater to audiences interested in the intersection of these three areas. Featuring an extensive library of intercultural productions from the Adventist Church, www.JPLUS.app aims to be a hub for cultural, value-based, and faith-driven content.”
