Glendale City Hosts Loren Seibold, AT Executive Editor

AT Executive Editor Loren Seibold will be the speaker at the Glendale City Seventh-day Adventist Church tomorrow, Sabbath, April 28 at 11 a.m and 3 p.m.
In the morning Dr. Seibold will be speaking at the worship service at 11:00 a.m. His title is “First Things First,” and is based on Colossians 2:8-19.
At 3 p.m. Glendale City church hosts the Adventist Forum, Los Angeles Chapter. Dr. Seibold’s presentation to the Forum is entitled “The Suzy Principle: Doing the Uncontested Good,” exploring the tendency of Christians to adjudicate ethical issues rather than take action to ameliorate suffering.
Loren Seibold grew up on a North Dakota farm. He attended Walla Walla University, Andrews University Theological Seminary, and in 1999 earned a doctorate at the San Francisco Theological Seminary. He’s pastored in Dakota Conference, Central California Conference, and Ohio Conference where he continues as a full-time pastor. His wife Carmen is a healthcare chaplain. She earned the Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary and was ordained by the Ohio Conference. Carmen lived at one time in her childhood across the street from the Glendale City church. Loren has written hundreds of pieces for church-related and other publications. For the past several years he’s been the Executive Editor of the Adventist Today magazine and website.
