GLENDALE CITY SDA CHURCH HAS SPECIAL EVENTS THAT THEY USE AS A MINISTRY
OUTREACH TO THE GLENDALE COMMUNITY

October 18 at 7 PM, the Glendale City Church will host the Fall Fundraiser for the Caesura Youth Orchestra (CYO). The concert will include internationally renowned recording artist and concert soloist, Sara Andon. Sara regularly records in studios in Los Angeles and was on tour for the Recording Academy in Europe this past summer. She performs with major orchestras both the U. S. and internationally as a soloist on the flute. The concert is coordinated by cellist, Michael Kaufman. Michael will be performing with Sara and with a string trio including violinist YuEun Kim and violist Benjamin Chilton. Brendon White will be providing dynamic support on the piano. The HOCKET piano duo of Sarah Gibson and Thomas Kotcheff is sure to amaze you with their great vitality. One of the teachers for the CYO, Louis Zuniga travels regularly for concert performances on the soprano saxophone. While many of these young musicians are still rising stars, they are already receiving acclaim for their achievements.

This is sure to be an evening to be remembered. Tickets for the event can be purchased here or by sending a check to the Glendale City Church, c/o CYO, 610 e. California Ave, Glendale 91206. Ticket categories are:

  • VIP $250, includes reception with the artists and prime seating
  • Reserved $75 includes preferred seating
  • General Admission for Adults, $20 and $5 for all students, ages 6-25
