Editorial: “Building the Kindest Corner of Adventism”
At Adventist Today, we have a unique opportunity to build the kindest, most inclusive corner of the Adventist Church. As my friend AT executive editor Loren Seibold explained last week, we deliberately choose to draw the circle wide, welcoming not just active Seventh-day Adventists, but also those who once were part of our community and still appreciate what this church could be.
We are creating a space for open dialogue, where faith and reason can coexist harmoniously. A place where we can discuss the real challenges facing our church without fear of judgment. Adventist Today is committed to being the most open-minded, least judgmental, and most loving corner of Adventism.
Here, we believe in the power of listening to diverse perspectives. We know that those on the edges, or even outside our community, often have valuable insights that can help us grow. By opening our doors to these voices, we enrich our understanding and strengthen our faith.
We invite you to be part of this mission of building a kinder, more inclusive Adventism. Whether you’re a lifelong Adventist, a former member, or simply someone who appreciates our values, you are welcome here.
Every dollar raised directly supports our mission of fostering a kinder, more informed, and more engaged Adventist community. Together, we can make Adventist Today a beacon of inclusivity, open-mindedness, and love within Adventism. Join us in this journey by supporting the AT Summer Challenge fundraiser today.
