“Someone brought fried chicken to a potluck I attended once. Yes, it was an SDA potluck. Guess what was the first thing to get eaten up?”

Editorial on Reading Counsels on Diet and Foods
“I appreciate AT’s views on several parts of the Adventist culture and doctrine that have been very problematic for me. AT has become my mandatory weekly reading for finding a sense of belonging which I have lacked in the church for years. Although I personally adopt a plant-based diet, I find the church’s focus on food and diet myopic and lacking on a compassionate global socioeconomic awareness.”
–Eva Marinotti
“I am amazed that so many Adventists seem to say, ‘All politicians are liars, so I’ll pick the one whose lies are the most outrageous.’ Does this make sense to you?”
–Loren Seibold

“It’s mind-boggling that the church in Australia, which is where the Division is centered, have banned the Fijian church president from speaking in Australia, and yet the guy still holds his position in Fiji. That’s one way to divide the church.”
–Bill Mancer
