Christmas Concert Walla Walla University

Walla Walla University Music Department students under Chair Karlyn Bond with WWU Symphony Director Brandon Beck and ICantori-University Singers-Master Organist Kraig Scott presented a Christmas Concert for the Walla Walla Valley community to two different enthusiastic audiences on Friday night, December 8, 2023. The concert was in the Walla Walla University Church, seating up to 2,500 at capacity. To meet community demand, the concert was repeated twice at both six and eight pm performances.

Student musicians had been developed by voice coach Christine Janis and adjunct faculty, including Ron Coleman, Shirley Diamond, Amy Dodds, Benjamin Gish, Diane Gray-Chamberlain, Adella Hammerstrom, Pablo Izquierdo, Wafia Kinne, Michael LeFevre, Lori Parnicky, Julia Salerno, Rebekah Schaub, Sally Singer Tuttle, Chelsea Spence, Rachel Vixie, and Jackie Wood.

The strength and depth of the Music Department at WWU was on very public display.
