False Bomb Threat at Littleton Adventist Hospital
March 29, 2017: Police investigating a bomb threat to Littleton Adventist Hospital tonight have determined the threat was not credible.
Television station FOX31 Denver reported that the hospital was placed on modified security status after the report of a possible bomb threat.
The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office reported receiving a call with the threat.
By 8:00 p.m. police had determined that there was no bomb at the hospital.
The source of the threat to the hospital is currently being investigated.
Littleton Adventist Hospital is a 231 bed acute care hospital in Littleton, Colorado.
It is part of Centura Health, a health care system which is run jointly by Catholic Health Initiatives and Adventist Health System.
