Adventist Risk Management Implements Changes After Audit in South America
11 March 2024 |
Following a regular audit by General Conference Auditing Services, Adventist Risk Management, Inc. (ARM) has taken steps to address administrative irregularities found within its South American division, according to a recent press release from ANN. The audit, part of ARM’s standard procedure to ensure operational integrity, revealed certain discrepancies prompting action by the organization.
ARM has since dismissed several directors responsible for overseeing the South American operations and a management team has been put in place to oversee protection operations and to implement necessary administrative measures to prevent similar issues in the future.
The focus is now on enhancing internal control processes to ensure that all activities, processes, and contracts align with the organization’s regulations. This is part of ARM’s ongoing effort to ensure compliance and operational efficiency across all its operations.
