President of Adventist University of Health Sciences to Retire

January 29, 2017:     Dr. David Greenlaw, the president of 25-year-old Adventist University of Health Sciences (ADU), will retire on July 31, 2017.

PR Newswire reported that as ADU founder, Greenlaw has led the institution for 27 years from inception to the present day.

Greenlaw said, “It’s been a privilege to work alongside such a passionate group of people, impacting the lives of these students who are the future of healthcare. ADU has exceeded all doubts and expectations, and I’m confident that the community of devoted individuals we’ve gathered here will continue that growth. To have been a part of that journey is immensely rewarding.”

The fully-accredited institution started with 243 students and now has more than 2,000 students spread between undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs.

The relatively young Adventist university specializes in health-related edication and stresses the practice of health care as a ministry. It offers more than 20 degrees.
