Final Push
UPDATE: December 31, 2024
Important correction: We’ve discovered additional donations that weren’t initially counted due to a processing error. We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve not only met but exceeded our original goal, raising over $140,000! For the most up-to-date information on our fundraising campaign and our new stretch goal, please see our latest post on the fundraiser. We apologize for any confusion and are deeply grateful for your incredible support.
Dear Adventist Today Reader,
We’re on the brink of something extraordinary! Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we’ve raised over $110,000 toward our $120,000 Adventist Today year-end fundraiser goal. We’re deeply grateful to everyone who has already contributed – your generosity has brought us this far. With just one day left (our year-end fundraiser ends tomorrow), we’re reaching out asking you to help us cross the finish line and surpass our target.
The General Conference is now prohibiting its employees from talking to Adventist Today. This blatant restriction on transparency comes when open dialogue about our faith is crucial, as seen in our recent coverage of the Berrien Springs Village Church controversy, where issues of religious liberty, church governance, and pastoral leadership collided.
At Adventist Today, we believe you deserve the full story of what’s happening in your church. We’ve long provided independent journalism, offering comprehensive coverage that official channels often cannot.
Your contributions have enabled us to:
– Investigate crucial church developments
– Give voice to those speaking truth to power
– Create safe spaces for authentic faith dialogue
We’re so close to our goal, but we need your help to raise the final $10,000. Your gift today, no matter the size, will make a significant impact.
Thank you for standing with us in our commitment to transparency, open dialogue, and independent journalism in the Adventist community.
With renewed determination,
Björn Karlman
Executive Director, Adventist Today
