The AT Sabbath Seminar is so gratifying!

Dear Adventist Today:
As I was sitting on my front porch this morning with my cup of coffee, I started thinking about how much I appreciate the on-line discussions every Saturday morning. I hope they continue even after people are able to back to regular church services. Why? Well, because of the chance to see and listen to people from around the world.
It is very gratifying listening to see even some young pastors of the church as they attempt to bring the real message of Christ to their churches. Their thoughts and ideas are like fresh air to a stifled church. I hope they can find a way to make the changes needed in the organization. It may not be possible, though, and a more community type of church may be in our future rather than one following the organizational line.
I am thinking these current crises should give rise to more thought about where the church is going and its relevancy to the world. I see the church as the people of belief in Christ and not the organization. The future is in the hands of the people and their shepherds.
Till next week!!
