“You said a mouthful. SDAs specialize in correct beliefs. We love our programs and seminars and ministries. But we are a bit short on reflecting the love of God to their brothers and sisters. It does not have to be binary, we could do both. But, if I had to choose I would choose to be like Jesus and, if needed, a bit less sure of prophecy and fall short of implementing the latest evangelistic techniques.”

“This is a very scary book. Large portions of American Evangelicalism have sold out to Christian Nationalism. They no longer preach the Gospel and are fully in bed with politics. God help us if the Adventist church becomes similarly tempted, and I know of some Adventists who are definitely leaning in the same direction. Reading this book ought to be an antidote against Christian Nationalism. I highly recommend it.”

“The sanctuary service is a type, to teach the plan of salvation, a shadow we no longer need as we have the rest of the story.”
