Update: Adventist Health Shares Details About Paradise Expansion

The article Adventist Health Receives $200M Settlement After 2018 Wildfire Loss quotes The Press Democrat, which writes that “Adventist Health has stated that it will not reopen the Feather River Hospital in Paradise but will invest $2 million to expand a health clinic instead.”
Adventist Health has shared more details about this $2.4M renovation and expansion project, delineating its plans to include a new Rapid Care Unit, Primary Care Clinic, and expanded Women’s Imaging Services for the Paradise community. The project will be called the Skyway Clinic.
According to a press release by Adventist Health, “construction is scheduled to commence mid-summer, with a completion target of late November to early December 2023. Adventist Health looks forward to welcoming patients to the renovated space in early January 2024.”
“The care and well-being of our patients is our highest priority,” said Chris Champlin, President of Adventist Health and Rideout. “Since 1950, Adventist Health has been committed to healthcare in Paradise and we will continue to invest our resources. The Skyway Clinic renovation and expansion project represents the first segment of a multi-phase plan.”
